Implementation

Update the IBM DOORS requirements database across all system levels (System, Sub-System and Component level):

  • Maintain the Requirements Management Plan (ReMP) Document

  • Generate change requests/issues on Atlassian-JIRA

  • Requirement text

  • Requirement attributes (e.g. Compliance assessment, Verification data, Verification method, System variant, tracking numbers, etc...)

  • Requirements traceability (in-links & out-links)

  • Module views

  • Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) objects

  • The embedded object often included MagicDraw/Cameo model exports:

    • Block Definition Diagrams (BDD)

    • Internal Block Diagrams (IBD)

    • Sequence Diagrams (SD)

    • Activity diagrams (ACT)

    • Use Cases (UC)

    • Microsoft Word/Excel Exports

    • DXL scripts (as required)

  • Review customer level requirements

  • Analyze awarded contract and statement of work (SOW) to identify Systems Engineering (SE) deliverables

  • Prepare Bill of Estimates (BOE)

  • Create Controlled Account (CA) and charging numbers

  • Select supporting systems engineers

  • Maintain the Requirements Management Plan (ReMP) Document

  • Generate change requests/issues on Atlassian-JIRA

Prat & Whitney:

  • Prepared Simulink to block diagrams. These were converted into code for software build incorporation.

BAE Systems:

  • Test armored vehicle’s touchscreen functions on simulator. Record transmitted data and assess requirements compliance.

  • Review data received from the test group and assess requirements compliance.

  • Perform Black Box testing for armored vehicle’s fire extinguishing system’s (user control panel, sensors, and extinguisher simulators).

Pratt & Whitney – NGPF Engines:

  • Perform rapid prototyping using proprietary scripting to verify Simulink model performance across operational environments.

BAE Systems:

  • Develop Requirements Verification Method, Production Verification Details, Method of tests, Pass/Fail criteria.

  • Write Acceptance Test Plans for armored vehicle’s fire extinguishing system.

  • Review test procedures with test group to guarantee that requirement compliance is adequately assessed.
